Here’s a very unique & local charity fundraising idea.
If you are organizing or looking for a fundraiser idea and feel brave enough to abseil down some of Munster’s most iconic venues, then come and TRY out our Abseiling Thomond Park Stadium or Abseiling King John’s Castle.
Participants will get fantastic panoramic views of the iconic venues, the River Shannon and of Limerick City before their descents. Aswell as a huge sense of achievement, whilst raising much needed funds for their charity organization or fundraising event.
We have worked with many organisations, such as the Make A Wish Foundation, Milford Hospice, Adapt, Jixsaw, the Children’s Grief Centre and many more.
Meeting rooms & conference options are available at our abseiling partners venues in Thomond Park & King John’s Castle as well as BBQ‘s, catering facilities and bar services.
How it all works ?
Abseiling to raise funds for a good cause really is not just something for extreme sports junkies.
In fact, the more unlikely the participant the easier it is to get publicity and how can the local press resist the managing director or celebrity abseiling to raise money for a good cause!
We charge from €60 pp and it’s then up to the charity organizers to decide how much / what amount each person needs to raise. Most people on average raise about €250-400 and upwards.
We take about 15 – 20 people to complete the abseil per hour and run throughout the whole day, fitting up to 100 people in a day.
Each participant asks friends and supporters to sponsor them.
And don’t forget to take some good pictures.
Good pictures and video footage can bring in extra cash and they are also a great way to raise the profile of a organization or charity.
