Fantastic afternoon for all the family out on the water

Dave, his fantastic humour and great patience were all put to the test when taking out myself and extended family for a kayaking / paddle board tour on the Shannon around Limerick. The fact that of the 7 of us ALL were novices and ALL seemed to want to different activities didn’t phase the Nevsail team and I was so impressed with how accommodating they were. The equipment was great and we had a brilliant time on the river playing games and sightseeing. Just such a fantastic afternoon that I would recommend to anybody.

Great family day out!

We were looking for a day out for the whole family, kids ages 6,9,10,15 to mark a birthday for the eldest. Explained to Dave that one child has autism so we’d prefer a quieter time slot, this was no problem at all and he organised kayaking for 9.30am with Declan and Laura as our guides.

There was 6 in our group and two others on the session so it was nice and chilled out. Even though I’m not a swimmer and I was nervous, we were well minded by both guides all morning and everyone of us thoroughly enjoyed it! The kids wanted to go again it was so much fun.

We had 90 minutes then to grab some food and rest and meet Declan and Laura again for wall climbing and archery. So much fun, the kids haven’t stopped talking about the day since we left. Both Declan and Laura made the day so enjoyable and we will definitely be back! Thanks so much for some great family memories!

Exceptional experience and Instructors

We stayed for a week in Kilkee and did a lot of windsurfing and surfing at Nevsail Watersports during the summer. We had very enjoyable day lessons for complete beginners, and despite being the world’s worst surfer, I still had a lot of fun and definitely plan on trying it again in the future. I enjoyed every minute of it! Very good value for money, would defenitly come back to the same place and take the surf classes!
The staff were always super positive and enthusiastic and instructors were always helpful and gave you a lot of information about the beach and the nature of surf and instruction on the water was exceptional

Family Fun Kayaking

Whether you’re new to kayaking and looking to have your very first kayaking experience or you have kayaked before, our family fun Kayaking sessions are perfect for getting started, learning new skills and having a fun day out with family members.

These sessions are open to all and take place at our calm, relaxed and scenic locations in Limerick and Kilkee Co Clare.

In these classes, we focus on having fun, learning some basic kayaking skills and enjoying the time on the water.

Our family kayaking sessions and tours are run at a relaxed, easy going pace by our friendly and highly qualified instructors and are suitable for complete beginners

Limerick City Treasure Hunt Activities: Using a Phone App

Enjoy our fantastic Limerick City Treasure Hunts whilst learning some amazing history, answering riddles and competing in lots of fun tasks and challenges.

New and fun filled walking options in Limerick City, whilst competing in some quirky tasks & challanges during COVID 19.

A great way to see Limerick’s fantastic historical sites like King John’s Castle, the Treaty Stone, Thomond Bridge and much more, whilst using our phone APP.

The Limerick City Treasure Hunt takes approx. 1 – 1.5 Hours to complete and costs start from €15 pp.

Minimum number of participants: 8+ needed.
